Camellia PLC15 September 2005 Camellia Plc ("Camellia") Statement re transfer of ownership of Linton Park Plc ("Linton Park") shares from Lawrie Group Plc ("Lawrie"), a subsidiary of Camellia, to Camellia 15th September 2005 For Immediate Release The Board of Camellia announces that the Camellia Group's shareholding in LintonPark of 15,069,999 shares, representing approximately 79.16% of Linton Park'sissued share capital, has been transferred from Lawrie, a subsidiary ofCamellia, to Camellia. This transfer is being made to facilitate the processwhich may lead to Camellia offering to acquire the remaining approximately20.84% of the issued share capital of Linton Park not already owned by theCamellia Group as announced on 7 June 2005. Discussions regarding the potential acquisition are continuing with the Board ofLinton Park and may or may not lead to an offer being made.
