Emblaze Ltd. ("Emblaze" or "the Company") Interim Management Statement
Herzeliya, Israel, 19November2012: Emblaze Ltd. informs that there has been no significant change in the Company's business and financial position during the period commencing 1st July 2012 to date.
EMOZE Ltd., the Company's subsidiary and a provider of push messaging solutions, is focusing its sales efforts in emerging markets where its unique solution is an asset for mobile manufacturers, operators and content providers.
The Company continues to review investment opportunities and will update the market when an investment becomes relevant.
On 23 October 2012 the Company informed that it has filed a complaint for patent infringement against Microsoft Corporation ("Microsoft"). The complaint asserts that Microsoft's IIS Smooth Streaming system infringes Emblaze's U.S. patent No. 6,389,473 for media streaming technology ("Emblaze's Media Streaming Patent"). Legal proceedings related to the complaint filed by the Company against Apple Inc. for infringement of Emblaze's Media Streaming Patent are still ongoing and expected to continue at least for another year and a half.
On 7 June 2012, the Company commenced a share repurchase programme of the Company's shares. Since then, the Company has purchased and transferred into Treasury 751,175 of its own shares. The Company now holds 29,573,397 of its shares in Treasury. The number of shares in issue (excluding shares held in Treasury) as at today is 111,004,757.
