B. P. Marsh (AIM: BPM), the niche venture capital provider to early stage financial services businesses, announces today that Francesca Chappell, the Company's Chief Finance Officer, has been appointed as a Director, with immediate effect.

Fran joined B.P. Marsh in 2013 and has over a decade of experience in the financial services sector having had various senior financial roles at B.P. Marsh.

In 2018, Fran was appointed as a director of B.P. Marsh & Company Limited. Fran is a Fellow Chartered and Certified Accountant (FCCA).

Throughout her time at B.P. Marsh, Fran has been involved in all aspects of the Group's finance function. This has included a key role with the Valuation Committee, assisting the Group's Portfolio across a variety of financial matters, and assisting with the New Business process. Fran currently sits on the Company's Investment Committee and has recently been appointed to the Valuation Committee and Disclosure Committee.

Commenting on her appointment, Brian Marsh, the Chairman and Founder of the Company stated:

"The Board is pleased to welcome Fran. With her extensive tenure and experience, there is no one better suited to take on the Financial Directorship of the Company. The appointment of Fran demonstrates the Group's ability to develop talent from within."

Fran, as part of the Company's Joint Share Ownership Plan, has a beneficial interest (as a joint owner alongside JTC Employer Solutions Trustee) over 86,104 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.23% of the total voting rights of the Company.

Furthermore, Fran has options over 137,500 Ordinary Shares as part of the Company's Share Option Plan announced on 15th November 2023.

Fran has a beneficial interest in 587 Ordinary Shares together with a beneficial interest in 25,809 Ordinary Shares held in the Company's SIP Trust, representing in aggregate approximately 0.07% of the total voting rights of the Company.

The Group intends to report the Half-Year results for the period to 31 July 2024 on 23 October 2024. Fran Chappell will join Dan Topping (the Group's Chief Investment Officer) in presenting these results to analysts and shareholders.
