Audioboom (AIM: BOOM), the leading global podcast company, is pleased to announce key milestones and data points connected to the success of the Audioboom Creator Network in 2023.
- Podcasts on the Audioboom platform were downloaded 1.5 billion times during 2023 and were listened to in more than 150 countries. The USA, UK and Australia were the biggest regions for listening, but our shows were also heard in Antarctica, Ivory Coast, and Madagascar
- Over 300 million people listened to an Audioboom podcast during the year, with Wednesday 8th March 2023 being the most popular day to download one of our shows
- The popularity of Audioboom podcasts positioned us as the 5th biggest podcast publisher in the USA, as reported by Edison Research
- During 2023, creators published more than 175,000 episodes through the Audioboom platform with episodes of True Crime leading the way, followed by Politics and Comedy
- Audioboom partnered with over 10,000 brands last year, connecting them with our huge audience to execute their advertising campaigns successfully
- Our advertising network enabled us to deliver more than $50 million of payments to our creators, rewarding them for their creativity and supporting their work in podcasting.
