Final Extension of Offer for Lemur Resources Limited

The Board of Bushveld Minerals announces today a final extension of the offer period under its takeover bid for all of the ordinary shares in Lemur Resources Limited (ASX:LMR) ("Lemur"), the terms of which are contained in the Replacement Bidder's Statement dated 1 July 2013.

The offer period is now set to close at 5.00pm (Australian WST) on 01 November 2013. There will be no further extension of the offer beyond 01 November 2013 and the Offer consideration of three (3) Bushveld shares for every five (5) Lemur shares is final. A letter to Lemur shareholders and the formal notice of variation were sent to all Lemur Shareholders who are yet to accept the Offer on 11 October 2013.

The Lemur bid is now unconditional and at present Bushveld is interested in 104,208,038 ordinary shares of Lemur representing an interest of 54.134% in Lemur.

A Fourth Supplementary Bidder's Statement was lodged by Bushveld with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission on 10 October 2013 and announced by the ASX on 10 October 2013. The Fourth Supplementary Bidder's Statement is available on Bushveld's website at www.bushveldminerals.com
