FORscene Cloud hosted by Siemens in South Africa
Forbidden Technologies, the AIM quoted developer of the market leading Cloud video platform FORscene, is pleased to announce that Siemens IT Solutions & Services in South Africa has licensed its own FORscene Cloud infrastructure to run within the African continent.
The Media Delivery practice in Siemens IT Solutions & Services provides IT services to the local broadcast, production and telecoms community. FORscene will be added to the South African portfolio of solutions on offer. Siemens will run its own FORscene Cloud, providing support and consulting on web enabled workflow solutions to media clients in South Africa and across the continent.
The licensing of a full FORscene Cloud infrastructure by a global systems integrator rapidly adds delivery capacity by making FORscene available through a third party with global reach.
Merlin Naicker, Head of Media Delivery, Siemens IT Solutions, South Africa said:
