Clear Cut Pictures add FORscene to their client services
Post House adds Forbidden's tools to provide web-based services to clients
Forbidden Technologies today announced that Clear Cut Pictures has adopted FORscene as part of its client service offering.
With FORscene's Load Linux system installed at Clear Cut Pictures, rushes and edit playouts were uploaded directly into FORscene at the same time as digitising occurred into local Avid Unity storage - all in real time. FORscene's built-in logging and rough-cut editing tools provided access to rushes through a web browser, either at client PCs inside Clear Cut or elsewhere, including on location. Used by producers and directors alongside editors, FORscene enabled the production team to work on and monitor content during post-production and to allow the director to contribute effectively during the off-line edit itself.
Clear Cut provided FORscene to its client Endemol during the production of 'Can You Bank On Me?'. Rushes were split-digitised locally, allowing loggers and production staff at Endemol to access the material through a web browser. Edited playouts were then uploaded back to FORscene for review and sign-off.
