AMCO Corporation PLC27 June 2007 Amco Corporation plc AGM statement 27 June 2007 Amco Corporation plc announces that at its Annual General Meeting to be held at 11.00am today, its Executive Chairman, Peter Hems, will make the following statement: "I am pleased to announce that the Group has made an encouraging start to theyear and is progressing in line with the Board's expectations. "Structural steel activities continue to perform profitably at levels consistentwith previous years. The property development division has continued to progresssome exciting residential opportunities that should produce a sustainable futureprofit stream. Specialist engineering activities continue to operate in adifficult environment but remain profitable. The manufacturing companies havehealthy order books although it is likely to be the second half of the yearbefore the benefit is felt by the Group.
