Bango PLC25 January 2006 Bango plc ("Bango" or "the Company") Signs agreement with Belgian operator, Proximus Bango integrates with Proximus in Belgium to launch 'on bill' payment of mobile content January 25, 2006 - Bango, the mobile content enabler, has signed an agreementwith the Belgian operator, Proximus, and has integrated directly with Proximusm-pay, the operator's billing system, so consumers in Belgium can pay for mobilecontent and services such as ringtones, games, music and videos directly viatheir phone bill. This is part of the Company's stated strategy of geographic expansion throughpartnerships and represents Bango's first entrance into the Belgian market. From January 31, thousands of content providers already using Bango to sell their content in various markets will be able to bill directly in Belgium. "Belgium offers an active, sophisticated and multi-lingual market for mobilecontent providers to target," said Anil Malhotra, SVP of Alliances and Marketingat Bango. "A member of the Vodafone group, Proximus joins Vodafone UK andVodafone Germany in activating its billing system on Bango to allow itssubscribers to pay for off-portal content on their phone bill. So far, over 48million Vodafone subscribers can use one-click payment via Bango. Bango hasbecome the only universal platform that integrates different mobile billingsystems from around the world into one service," continued Malhotra at Bango. Content providers can control the pricing and promotion of their content on-lineand keep track of traffic and revenues in real-time through the same webservice. Pricing is automatically localised for customers depending on whichcountry they are accessing from. Bango is the leading direct-to-consumer channel for content providers who wantto sell their content directly to end users. Content providers using Bango tosell digital content directly to consumers include The Sun newspaper, Channel 4,Maxim magazine, EMI Music and The Times.
