Brave Bison Group plc (AIM: BBSN), the independent digital media & social video broadcaster, announces the resignation of Richard Mansell from the Board of Directors as he steps down from the role as Chief Operating Officer of the Company. Richard's decision is for private family reasons, and he steps down with immediate effect.

Ashley MacKenzie, CEO of Brave Bison, said: "Richard is a hugely effective business partner and great friend. He is one of life's good guys. From a walk-up in Denmark Street, we co-founded Base79 together with an unwavering belief in online video, YouTube and wherever the consumer goes the advertiser will follow. Since our return to Brave Bison last year, we have renewed that focus on social video creation, with Richard's difficult decision to step down as COO coming at a hugely exciting time for our business and industry as a whole. I entirely respect Richard's decision, and am delighted that he will continue working with Brave Bison on various projects as a consultant. Richard leaves with the fondest of wishes from me and everyone at Brave Bison."

Richard's responsibilities at Chief Operating Officer will be shared between between the CEO, CFO and broader leadership group within the Company.
