Axis Bank Limited21 April 2008 SUB : DECISIONS TAKEN AT BOARD MEETING OF AXIS BANK HELD ON 21ST APRIL, 2008 The Board of Directors of Axis Bank at its meeting held today has taken thefollowing decisions : 1. PAYMENT OF DIVIDEND FOR THE YEAR 2007-08 TO THE SHAREHOLDERS OF AXIS BANK - INTIMATION REGARDING DESPATCH DATE OF DIVIDEND WARRANTS The Board of Directors of the Bank has recommended the payment of dividend @60%(Rs. 6.00 per equity share) on equity shares of the Bank and the same will bepayable after it is approved by the shareholders at the 14th Annual GeneralMeeting scheduled to be held on 6th June, 2008. Further, it is proposed to pay/despatch the dividend warrants for the year2007-08 to the shareholders of the Bank on or after 7th June, 2008. Accordinglythe date of the dividend warrants will be 7th June, 2008. 2. BOOK CLOSURE - 26TH MAY, 2008 TO 6TH JUNE, 2008 (bdi) The Register of Members and the Share Transfer Books of the Bank will remainclosed from Monday, the 26th May, 2008 to Friday the 6th June, 2008 (both daysinclusive) for the purpose of the Fourteenth Annual General Meeting of the Bankand for determining the entitlement of dividend declared, if any, for the yearended 31st March, 2008. The Fourteenth Annual General Meeting of the shareholders is scheduled to beheld on 6th June, 2008 at Ahmedabad. All shareholders whose names will appear onthe Register of Members of the Bank as on 26th June, 2008, will be entitled toreceive the dividend.
