SUB: ALLOTMENT OF EQUITY SHARES UNDER ESOP - AXIS BANK

We are pleased to inform that the Committee of Directors of the Bank have allotted 1,43,157 equity shares on 15th July, 2008, of Rs. 10/- each to the employees of the Bank, under ESOP. 

The paid up share capital of the Bank will accordingly get increased from 35,77,09,669 as on 31st March, 2008 to 35,87,07,688 equity shares. 

Further, the Bank had allotted total 8,54,862 equity shares during quarter April, 2008 to June, 2008 as under :

54,478 equity shares on 19th April, 2008

6,54,773 equity shares on 14th May, 2008

1,45,611 equity shares on 05th June, 2008
