("Avon" or the "Company") Employee Share Ownership Trust Further to an announcement on 13 June 2007, Avon Rubber p.l.c (the "Company")has been advised by Towers Perrin Share Plan Services (Guernsey) Limited, in itscapacity as trustee of the Company's Employee Share Ownership Trust (the"Trust"), that it disposed of 666,190 ordinary shares of £1 each in the Companyon 14 June 2007 and has, conditional upon a successful application for listing,applied for the subscription of 666,191 shares in the Company. The following directors and persons discharging managerial responsibility arepotential beneficiaries of the Trust by virtue of their participation in theCompany's Performance Share Plan 2002.
