Avon Rubber PLC01 August 2006 AVON RUBBER p.l.c. ("Avon Rubber") Disposal of Avon Rubber's Automotive Division On 22 May 2006, Avon Rubber announced that it had entered into a conditionalagreement to sell Avon Automotive to Petrol Automotive Holdings Inc., a companyestablished and controlled by Red Diamond Capital, L.P. and a management teamled by Leland Richards. It was anticipated that completion would occur by nolater than 31 July 2006.
