AGM update

Avon Protection plc ("Avon Protection" or "the Group") today provides an update on the arrangements for its forthcoming Annual General Meeting ("AGM").

The AGM will still be held as announced in the Notice of AGM at our Hampton Park West facility, Semington Road, Melksham, Wiltshire, SN12 6NB on Friday 28 January 2022 at 10:30am.

However, due to the prevalence of the Omicron variant, and with a view to protecting the health and safety of shareholders, employees and other potential attendees, shareholders are strongly requested not to attend the meeting in person and instead to join via webcast. Questions will be answered and for those not attending can be submitted in advance by email to enquiries@avon-protection.com.

Shareholders are also encouraged to vote electronically in advance by appointing the Chair of the meeting as their proxy. Instructions for submitting proxy votes are contained in the Notice of AGM.

Shareholders who wish to join via the webcast are invited to register by sending an email to the above email address by 12:00pm on Thursday 27 January 2022.

The AGM will focus solely on the formal business set out in the Notice of AGM and only the minimum number of Directors necessary to constitute a quorum will attend. Regrettably, we will not be making the usual presentations, offering a site tour or providing refreshments. If shareholders nonetheless wish to attend in person, they will need to follow the site visitor guidance which will include taking a lateral flow test either before or on arrival and wearing a face covering while they are on site (unless exempt).

The results of the AGM will be posted on the Company's website following the conclusion of the meeting.
