Avacta Group plc ("Avacta" or "the Company") Holdings in Company
The Company was notified on 31 December 2010 that IP Group Plc ("IP Group"), a substantial shareholder of the Company, had purchased 1,375,000 ordinary shares of 0.1p each in Avacta ("Ordinary Shares") at £0.0086 per share on 29 December 2010.
IP Group then purchased an additional 2,000,000 Ordinary Shares on 31 December 2010 at £0.0093 per share.
Alan Aubrey is a Non-Executive Director of the Company and the CEO of IP Group. As a result of these transactions, his direct holding in the issued share capital of the Company has remained unchanged but his indirect holding has increased from 0.108% to 0.109%.
IP Group now has a beneficial interest in 363,995,694 Ordinary Shares in the Company, representing 25.34% of the issued share capital.
