TRADING UPDATE
Pentagon Protection plc (AIM: PPR), the glass protection and security products and services specialist, announces that its final results for the year ended 30 September 2013 are expected to be released in the second half of January 2014, and are expected to be in line with market expectations.
"We are very happy with this year's results having achieved a profit following improved sales and cost reductions", commented Steve Chambers, Managing Director. "Our sales pipelines are strong in all divisions and whilst we can't guarantee timescale, current indications show a total sales pipeline in excess of £16 million for the current financial year which gives us confidence we can meet or exceed our forecast numbers for 2014. We therefore look forward to another successful year in 2014."
In view of the anticipated growing market opportunity for Pentagon, in particular in the US, and whilst the Company has sufficient working capital for its current requirements, the Directors believe the Company will benefit from additional capital in order to accelerate organic growth and having explored such, the Directors plan to consider a possible fundraising in the first quarter of 2014, subject to market conditions and the terms being acceptable.
