ASOS PLC23 February 2007 ASOS plc ("ASOS" or "the Company") Holding in Company The Company has been informed by Fidelity International Limited that, followingthe implementation of the EU Transparency Directive, Fidelity InternationalLimited now only discloses a holding over those shares where it retains votingrights. Therefore on 22 February 2007 ASOS was notified that FidelityInternational Limited holds a total of 7,364,739 ordinary shares, allnon-beneficially, which represent approximately 10.20 per cent. of the entireissued share capital of the Company. Of the total shareholdings notified: 531,700 ordinary shares are held in thename of Bank of New York Brussels; 220,450 ordinary shares are held in the nameof Northern Trust London; 234,000 are held in the name of Mellon Bank; 683,200ordinary shares are held in the name of State Str Bank and Trust Company London;5,111,702 ordinary shares are held in the name of Brown Bros Harriman Ltd Lux;441,787 ordinary shares are held in the name of Brown Brothers Harriman and Co;and 141,900 ordinary shares are held in the name of JP Morgan, Bournemouth. The above notification was made by Fidelity International Limited following theimplementation of the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules which requires theseparate reporting of previously aggregated interests in shares held by FidelityInternational Limited and its direct and indirect subsidiaries.
