ArmorGroup International plc01 November 2005 1 November 2005 ArmorGroup International plc Board Changes ArmorGroup International, the leading international provider of defensiveprotective security services and security training services, announces todaythat Noel Philp, the current Chief Operating Officer, has been appointed to thenewly created position of Corporate Development Officer and that Stephen Kappeshas been appointed to the board as Chief Operating Officer with effect from 1November 2005. Noel Philp, Chief Operating Officer for the past six years, has considerableexperience in the protective security services industry and significantknowledge of ArmorGroup's core client base in the oil & gas, reconstruction andhumanitarian sectors. His new position will allow this expertise to be used topursue sustainable and strategic corporate growth through the development ofglobal trading partnerships, operating platforms with new clients and expansioninto new regions. Stephen Kappes (54) joined ArmorGroup earlier in the year following twenty fiveyears within the US Government intelligence community, culminating as DeputyDirector of Operations for the Central Intelligence Agency. He has extensiveexperience in the management of operations where detailed knowledge of globalactivity is critical to operational success. This significant knowledge ofpolitics and security in North Africa, the Middle East, Russia and Central Asiawill be invaluable in ensuring the Group's regional operations meet their growthobjectives.
