Annual General Meeting Statement 2015
The Board of Arbuthnot Banking Group PLC ("ABG" or "the Group") announces that shareholders approved all the resolutions proposed at the Annual General Meeting held today Thursday 14 May 2015.
At the meeting the Chairman, Henry Angest, made the following statement:
"Again the Group has started the year well. Both banks have traded robustly and have delivered strong growth in lending volumes. Overall, customer loan balances finished the first quarter in excess of 60% higher than the previous year.
"In accordance with our conservative management of the balance sheet, both banks remain well funded and capitalised.
"The Group will continue to develop its business in a prudent fashion and is well positioned to make further progress during the year."
