NOTIFICATION OF TRANSACTIONS OF DIRECTORS, PERSONS DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITY OR CONNECTED PERSONS
On 7 September 2011 David Sherriff, Chief Executive Officer of Microgen plc, acquired and subsequently sold 75,000 ordinary shares in Microgen plc. Mr Sherriff acquired the shares following the exercise of share options which were approaching their last date of exercise. This is Mr Sherriff’s first disposal of shares since joining the group on 3 May 1999 and he continues to hold 189,000 ordinary shares with interest in a further 768,381 ordinary shares under option details of which can be found in the 2010 Annual Report.Â
