Anpario, the independent manufacturer of natural sustainable animal feed additives for health, nutrition and biosecurity is pleased to announce the appointment of Kate Allum as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 1 February 2021.

Kate has an extensive track record of senior executive and Non-Executive leadership roles in the food supply chain and agriculture industries. Her previous executive roles include Head of European Supply Chain at McDonald's Restaurants and Chief Executive of First Milk, the British farmer-owned dairy co-operative. Kate is currently a Non-Executive Director of Cranswick plc, a leading UK food producer and Origin Enterprises plc, an international agri-services business.

Peter Lawrence, Chairman, stated;

"We are delighted Kate will be joining the Board as a Non-Executive Director bringing valuable commercial insights and extensive board committee and ESG experience. Kate's appointment is part of a Board succession plan alongside the appointment of Matthew Robinson as announced on 8 January additional updates are expected in the run up to the next AGM in June. Kate's appointment reflects Anpario's commitment to not only grow the business, but also to environmental and sustainability considerations, as well as the benefits our natural products deliver to both farmers and meat processors in producing safe and sustainable food for consumers."
