Update
Further to the announcement dated the 3 June 2013 in relation to the ship mv Voyager, All Leisure group PLC provides the following update:-
Following an on-board investigation the All Leisure operational team have reported that the power generation problems will take longer to rectify than originally anticipated. Actions have been taken to address this with two new crank shafts, alongside power supplies from temporary generators, having been loaded on the vessel in dry dock in Bremerhaven. Mv Voyager departed from Ostend on 25th June on schedule for its next cruise.
All Leisure prudently maintains customary insurance coverage aimed at the prevention and protection against risks inherent in its operations and these are expected to cover the crank shafts. In accordance with the insurance policy, All Leisure's insurers were notified immediately after the incidentΒ and are conducting the claims process. At this moment, the directors believe that there will be an expected deductible for an excess which will result in a one-off cost. The overall one-off cost will include an assessment of additional expense, such as refunds to customers, and dry dock. A further update will be provided as soon as possible.
