Board Change
Alkane Energy plcΒ (AIM: ALK), the fast growing owner and operator of "Gas to Power" plants in the UK, today announces that Non-executive Director,Β Lord Fraser of Carmyllie,Β has decided that he will not stand for re-election to theΒ Board at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders to be held on 6 MayΒ 2009 following eightΒ industriousΒ years of service.
The Board would like to thank Lord Fraser for hisΒ invaluable contribution to the CompanyΒ during his tenureΒ as a Director and wish him wellΒ for the future.
