TVL Project and Leadership Update

Alkemy Capital Investments plc ("Alkemy") (LSE: ALK) (JV2:FRA), the holding company of Tees Valley Lithium ("TVL"), today announces further senior appointments that strengthen TVL's leadership and delivery capacity as it advances its Front-End-Engineering Design ("FEED") study and prepares for Final Investment Decision ("FID").

Highlights

· Gardiner & Theobald LLP ("G&T") appointed to provide project management services and act as Principal Designer under CDM regulations.

· G&T brings extensive experience delivering large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects, including energy transition and battery materials.

· Gemma Cooper appointed Chief Commercial Officer ("CCO"), effective 1 September, to lead feedstock, offtake, partnerships, and strategic agreements.

· Appointment of a Chief Operating Officer ("COO"), with details to follow upon commencement, further strengthening operational leadership as TVL progresses through FEED towards construction

Project Management Expertise

G & T, a leading independent construction consultancy, has been engaged to support TVL with a suite of project management services and to act as Principal Designer under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 ("CDM"). G&T's proven expertise spans energy, advanced manufacturing and battery materials, with a strong record of managing programme risk and delivering major industrial facilities on time and on budget. Their appointment reinforces a de-risked pathway to construction and commissioning.

New Senior Appointments

TVL has also bolstered its leadership team with two senior appointments. Effective 1 September 2025, Gemma Cooper will join as Chief Commercial Officer, bringing over 15 years' experience in global commodity supply chains and contract negotiations. Gemma previously held senior roles at Johnson Matthey and has worked across strategic sourcing and partnerships in battery materials and speciality chemicals and has advised a range of industrial clients on offtake and global trading structures. In her new role, Gemma will lead feedstock, offtake, partnerships and commercial agreements critical to advancing the project.

A Chief Operating Officer has also been appointed, adding further operational strength as TVL transitions from FEED into construction. Details will be announced on formal commencement.

These appointments mark another milestone in de-risking the project and advancing towards delivery of the UK's flagship lithium refinery, designed to support the growth of Europe's battery and EV supply chain.
