Akers Biosciences, Inc.19 December 2005 Akers Biosciences, Inc. (the "Company") Issue of Equity Akers Biosciences, Inc. today announces that on 15 December 2005, it approvedthe issue of 133,300 shares of common stock, no par value ("Common Shares") toan individual lender, who has elected to convert his loan principal andinterest. The principal amount of the loan, which had originated in April 2002,is $100,000. Along with the accrued interest of $33,000, this enabled thelender to convert to 133,000 shares, given the conversion price pf $1.00 pershare. The transaction allows the Company to reclassify the debt as part of itspermanent capital. Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the 133,000 CommonShares to be admitted to trading, such admission expected to take place on 22December 2004.
