Board changes

AJ Bell plc ("AJ Bell" or "Company"), one of the UK's largest investment platforms, announces that Laura Carstensen, Senior Independent Director and chair of the Remuneration Committee, has informed the Board that she does not want to be put forward for re-election at the Company's 2022 Annual General Meeting ("AGM"). The 2022 AGM is expected to be held in January 2022, at which time Laura will have served on the Board for just under four years.

The Board is pleased to announce the appointments of Evelyn Bourke as the Company's new Senior Independent Director and, subject to FCA approval, Margaret Hassall as the new Chair of the Remuneration Committee, in each case with effect from the end of the 2022 AGM.

The Board will keep its composition under review to ensure it remains appropriate in terms of its size, independence and diversity.
