Amiad, a producer and global supplier of automaticΒ water filters and filtration systems for the industrial, municipal and irrigation markets,Β announces that Mr Gil Nussbaum hasΒ given notice of hisΒ resignationΒ from his position as ChiefΒ FinancialΒ Officer (CFO) andΒ as aΒ member of theΒ Board ofΒ DirectorsΒ of the Company.
AmiadΒ hasΒ accepted Mr. Nussbaum's resignation with immediate effect andΒ promotedΒ Ms Tamar Sela, theΒ Company's financial controllerΒ and Mr Nussbaum's deputy,Β toΒ the position ofΒ interimΒ CFOΒ whilst the Company searches for a permanent replacement.Β
Ms Sela joinedΒ Amiad as Financial ControllerΒ inΒ 2007Β from Galtronics Ltd., a developer and manufacturer of mobile phone antennae,Β where sheΒ had served as Group ControllerΒ sinceΒ 2000.Β Tamar Sela has an M.A. Degree in Legal Studies, is a Certified Public Accountant in Israel and has a B.A. Degree in Accounting Business Administration.
Arik Dayan, Chief Executive Officer of Amiad, said: "I am pleasedΒ thatΒ Tamar SelaΒ has accepted the position ofΒ interim CFO. I have worked very closely withΒ herΒ during her time at Amiad and know her to be extremely capable of stepping into the position. She has always worked very closely with theΒ Company CFO and understands the role and the business very well."Β
As a result ofΒ Mr Nussbaum'sΒ resignation,Β Resolution 10,Β regarding the approval ofΒ hisΒ employment agreement,Β will be withdrawn from theΒ business to be considered atΒ the Extraordinary General Meeting of the CompanyΒ to be heldΒ onΒ 1Β April 2009.Β
As stated in its announcementΒ of 25 March 2009, the Company willΒ beΒ announcingΒ its full year results on 2 April 2009Β andΒ expects to reportΒ thatΒ revenues for the full year 2008 have increased by at least 26% over the previous year.
