Albemarle & Bond Holdings PLC15 June 2006 ALBEMARLE & BOND HOLDINGS PLC "the Company" The Company announces that on 14 June 2006 it received notice, pursuant to s.324 of the Companies Act 1985, from Mr Greville Vincent Nicholls, a director of the Company, relating to the following transactions in Ordinary shares of 4p each in the capital of the Company: Date Sold Purchased Price per Share Details 14 June 2006 75,000 0 £1.84 Registered in the name of G V Nicholls 14 June 2006 0 75,000 £1.84 Purchased through Self Invested Personal Pension Scheme registered in the name of James Hay Pension Trustees Limited Following the above transactions, Mr Nicholls' beneficial interest in theCompany's shares remains unchanged at 880,652 Ordinary shares of 4p each, whichis equivalent to 1.89% of the Company's issued share capital. Additionally, Mr Nicholls is a director of Albemarle & Bond Trustee Limited("the Trustee"), the Trustee of the Albemarle & Bond Pawnbrokers LimitedEmployee Benefit Trust which holds 302,250 Ordinary shares of 4p each in thecapital of the Company. Aggregating his personal holding and that of theTrustee, Mr Nicholls is considered to be interested in 1,182,902 Ordinary shares of 4p each, which is equivalent to 2.54% of the Company's issued share capital.
