Albemarle & Bond Holdings PLC20 December 2005 ALBEMARLE & BOND HOLDINGS PLC "the Company" The Company announces that on 19 December 2005 it received notices, pursuant toS.324 Companies Act 1985, from Mr Greville Vincent Nicholls and Mr DavidAlistair Louden Page, both being directors of the Company, relating to theexercise of options as follows: Name Scheme No. Exercised Exercise Price (per share) G V Nicholls Unapproved 70,000 Ordinary shares of 4p each £0.455 D A L Page Unapproved 70,000 Ordinary shares of 4p each £0.475 Following the above transactions Mr Nicholls' beneficial interest in theCompany's shares will be 805,652 Ordinary 4p shares, which is equivalent to1.74% of the Company's issued share capital; and Mr Page's beneficial interestin the Company's shares will be 507,352 Ordinary 4p shares, which is equivalentto 1.09% of the Company's issued share capital. In addition, both Mr Nicholls and Mr Page are directors of Albemarle & BondTrustee Limited, the Trustee of the Albemarle & Bond Pawnbrokers EmployeesBenefit Trust which holds 308,250 Ordinary 4p shares in the Company. Aggregating personal holdings and the holding of the Trustee, Mr Nicholls is considered to be interested in 1,113,902 Ordinary 4p shares, which is equivalent to 2.40% of the Company's issued share capital; and Mr Page is considered to be interested in 815,602 Ordinary 4p shares, which is equivalent to 1.76% of the Company's issued share capital.
