Albemarle & Bond Holdings PLC06 March 2008 ALBEMARLE & BOND HOLDINGS PLC ("the Company") Exercise of Options by an Employee The Company received on 5 March 2008 from an employee, letters of exercises ofoptions over a total of 66,947 Ordinary shares of 4p each at a purchase price of 74.5p per share and 11,500 Ordinary shares of 4p each at a purchase price of48.0p per share. Albemarle & Bond Trustee Limited is the Trustee of the Albemarle & BondPawnbrokers Limited Employee Benefit Trust ("the EBT"). The EBT is interested in 462,250 Ordinary 4p shares representing 0.84% of the Company's total issuedshare capital. C L Nicolson, G V Nicholls, D A L Page and D P Pattinson are directors ofAlbemarle & Bond Trustee Limited. The Company further announces that that application has today been made for78,447 new Ordinary 4p shares to be admitted to listing pursuant to the exercise of share options under the unapproved share option scheme and the approved executive option scheme detailed above. It is expected that dealings will commence in the new ordinary shares on 12 March 2008. Following the exercise of share options the issued share capital of the Company will be increased from 54,718,391 Ordinary shares of 4p each to 54,796,838 Ordinary shares of 4p each.
