Albemarle & Bond Holdings PLC11 January 2008 ALBEMARLE & BOND HOLDINGS PLC "the Company" Exercises of Options by Employees--------------------------------- Following the exercise by two employees of options over shares in the capital of the Company, the Company makes the following announcements: 1. a transfer of shares was approved today in respect of 10,000 Ordinary shares of 4p at 32p per share in the capital of the Company held by Albemarle & Bond Trustee Limited ("the Trustee") as Trustee of the Albemarle & Bond Pawnbrokers Limited Employee Benefit Trust; 2. as a result of the transfer announced above, the Trustee now holds 469,250 Ordinary shares in the capital of the Company which is equivalent to 0.86% of the Company's issued share capital; 3. the Company received a letter of exercise of options over 10,000 Ordinary shares of 4p each at a purchase price of 107.5p per share in the Approved Executive Share Option Scheme; 4. application has been made for 10,000 new Ordinary 4p shares to be admitted to listing pursuant to the exercise of share options announced in 3 above. It is expected that dealings will commence in the new Ordinary shares on 16 January 2008; 5. as a result of the application for listing announced above, the issued share capital of the Company will be increased from 54,654,391 Ordinary shares of 4p each to 54,664,391 Ordinary shares of 4p each; and 6. C L Nicolson, G V Nicholls, D A L Page and D P Pattinson are directors of Albemarle & Bond Trustee Limited.
