Anglo Asian Mining PLC16 November 2006 16 November 2006 ANGLO ASIAN MINING PLC ('Anglo Asian' or 'the Company') GEDABEK DRILLING UPDATE Anglo Asian Mining PLC (AIM: AAZ), the gold and copper development company withprojects in Azerbaijan, today issues the following update on its Gedabekdrilling programme: The Company is progressing towards the completion of a scoping study on itsGedabek gold, copper and silver project in north-west Azerbaijan and a resourceestimate is being prepared for release at the end of November. Since the lastpress release on 24 August, 2006 the Company has received the results from afurther 74 drill-holes which have been drilled primarily to delineate a resourcecompliant with JORC guidelines at Gedabek. The latest results confirm the continuity of mineralisation and consistency ingrade previously reported. Furthermore, similar style mineralisation has beenintersected some 400 metres north of the main deposit, highlighting thepotential to expand the resource in the future. Detailed in the table below are the best intercepts encountered from the latestdrilling. A cut-off of 0.3 g/t Au was used to define the intercepts.
