Statement from MRG Finance UK plc

London, 10 February 2022: MRG Finance UK plc ("the Company"), notes the announcement by the Financial Reporting Council ("FRC") on 7 January 2022 that it has commenced an investigation in relation to the audits conducted by MacIntyre Hudson LLP (trading as MHA MacIntyre Hudson) of the financial statements of the Company for the years ended 31 December 2018 and 31 December 2019.

As expressly noted by the FRC in its announcement, the Company is not the subject of the investigation.

The Company's 2020 audited accounts were recently submitted to Companies House and are available here: MRG FINANCE UK PLC filing history - Find and update company information - GOV.UK together with the Company's 2018 and 2019 accounts which have been restated in Euros (rather than Pounds Sterling as was previously the case).
