The following replaces the Director/PDMR shareholding announcement released at 11.16 a.m. today under RNS number 3816Z. The share capital of the Company was incorrectly referred to as ordinary shares "of 73 19/22p each". This has been corrected in the announcement below.

On 18 September 2009, 3i Infrastructure plc (the "Company") was notified that on 16 September 2009 Peter Sedgwick, Chairman of the Company, purchased 3,500 ordinary shares in the Company ("Shares") at a price of 100.8p per Share. The transaction took place on the London Stock Exchange.
