In accordance with article 228 of the Securities Market Act, Endesa, S.A. hereby reports the following
SIGNIFICANT EVENT
“Endesa Red, S.A.”, a company fully owned by Endesa, S.A., has today signed a contract to acquire 100% of the share capital of the company, Eléctrica del Ebro, at a price of Euros 24.7 million. This will be adjusted for the net financial position on the completion date of the transaction, which is expected in the second half of this year.
The agreement is subject to approval by the Spanish competition authorities.
“Eléctrica del Ebro, S.A.” carries out electricity distribution and supply activities in the province of Tarragona and has around 20,000 customers in the region comprised from Hospitalet-Vandellós to the Ebro Delta and Amposta.
