I therefore have to assume it got ahead of itself with baked in news for the GDX and ASX100 and possibly 'good news' for the end of this months results?

A retrace must be the only reason for this technical "correction" of the GGP SP.

We've seen it before in other iterations:

Fed tightening its belt and trade wars in 2018. -15% to -20%

Covid. -30% to -35%

Inflation and aggressive hikes following Covid in 2022: -20% to -25%

GGP decline between 2022 - 25. -55%

Massive upward swing since start of this year. +300%

Maybe we just got ahead of ourselves.

Let's hope the outcome of the following makes a dent in our retrace:

Well done GGP - GDX/ASX100 buying making themselves felt now.

If the SP can hold fast in light of current affairs, we will maximise our returns when the next set of results come out imminently.

Iran has been a double edged sword - on the one hand we shareholders have to thank Trump for fecking up global politics, ergo, ramping up gold prices which feeds into our SP and on the other hand we have to hate trump for invading Iran and causing so much pain, suffering and uncertainty.

Still not convinced the conveyor decline has started yet.

Costs for conveyor work comes under expansion capex phase which is a wee while yet.

Best case scenario for completion of conveyor belt is H2/27. At a push.

Once complete FCF will go ballistic though and this will be another milestone for shareholders.

Paddy corrected me a week or so back about the start of the conveyor decline. With best intentions.

Further research however, confirms my original dates.

The roadmap has now been revised to reflect the original dates:

Q2/26. FID and Definitive Development Schedule (DDS) @ Hav.

H2/26. Hav decline re-starts on completion of EA's.

H2/28. Conveyor decline begins.

H2/28. Development Ore (stockpiling) @ Hav. [4.0mt/266kozAu per annum @ an AISC of US$1040 for 17 years].

H1/29. First Gold @ Hav. (FCF @ Hav). Integrated Hav/Telfer production.

H2/2031. Conveyor decline operational.

or you can check the companys annual report or investor relations page.

If all else fails - ring the damn company.

A gentle nudge - SAS spent over £300k in 2019 (old money), not 300,000 shares in 2026?

I have the voluntary register of posters holdings from back then. Goodness knows what some are worth now if they stuck by those holdings!!!

One of the biggest hitters was TomE for example (he was happy to divulge his holdings, so I'm not snitching) - worth millions by now!

Others had (have) 10, 20, 30 plus million shares back then (old money).

Can anyone remember Callum Baxter's holding(s)....140 million is it?

For cluttering up this forum with headlines like this! I had to 'unveil' the OP to get to the bottom of it all.

This place has changed so much, don't know what to make of it anymore.

Solg forum went south many moons ago which was lamentable and now I see a change in the wind direction here too - sad but inevitable.

I have absolutely no intention wasting time addressing this strange 'individual' regarding my holding, for obvious reasons.

He/she may be on the spectrum, so I will refrain from insults or any derogatory comments.

Suffice to say, I have been here since 2018, invested a shed load of my hard earned money en route and done my best to stay on top of progress @ GGP to safeguard that investment. It seems (for some) the more ones investment accrues, the more one becomes the great unwashed? That's the UK for you, I guess.

I foolishly thought the roadmap was of use to some, especially newcomers, but alas, even this attracts derision.

I will happily remove it if this is the general concensus.

I miss the 'old school' chin wag where we were in it together - highs and lows.
