Concur Jerry / Stebol - all this fuss (for years now) about stashing precious hard metal in an undisclosed location to make sure HMRC can't find it and then spending it when there is no more FIAT globally (yeah right). I often wonder how Tesco will cope with Britannias at check out.

Sageman - there is no "certainty of outcome". We are talking shares here not fixed rate equity funds.

If Bojo bought in at around £1.30 in Dec 2024 and the current is £7, I wonder how much of that is directly associated to the rise in Gold courtesy Donald J Trump!! If it had been a.n. other none gold mining stock, the SP would probably risen a lot less than it has - gold related. So even less of a 4 bagger!

I say again - IF, IF you can afford to right off the initial investment but the stock looks interesting/exciting/promising etc etc, then 'get in early' and forget about it until something happens.

I totally agree though - the more you put in, the better prepared you should be vis a vie research.
