We all need to cross our fingers as of April 6th when the mad mullah Trump says he is going to unleash hell on the 'Regime'. Hope and pray he doesn't put troops on the ground (Vietnam again) and hope and pray someone can bring Iran/US together for talks resulting in a long term ceasefire/peace.

The Lassonde curve is going to be a lot flatter if it goes pearshape and time will be our currency not money.

Morning Jerry, have you made the mistake of seeing the price of tungsten in: MTU.

In reality 1 x MTU (Metric Tonne Units) = 10kg of Wo3.

Furthermore, peeps think Wo3 is pure tungsten, it isn't, it is only approx 80% tungsten metal.

In addition, the markets are seeing the reported 246Kt and correcting it (quite rightly) to a recoverable value of approx 170Kt.

If one now multiplies this with the current market price of $320/mtu, then it works out at: $5.4Bn. (£4.5Bn].

Let's see if this makes you happy:

1. Last official update on Hav was 30Jan 2026 (December Quarter activities report). You have read that presumably?

There is some lateral tunnel work outwards from the main decline ongoing now but nothing much more can be done without the environmental permits and approval process being completed this FY26.

The main decline and the conveyor decline tunnelling will then start concurrently - but the conveyor installation and commissioning won't be up and running for a couple of years after tunnelling is complete. Ore extraction via the conveyor system is expected to be in full flow by FY29.

Conveyor commissioning falls under the 'expansion plan' scheme of works and costings (I think A$600m from memory).

2. More news is forthcoming either monday or tuesday next week Tom (Q1/26 ends). Maybe worth catching up then, eh?

Evening stars - you can't postpone an MRE because you think the market is on a downer! You must have a legitimate reason other than what it might do to the SP. It's outside the rules.

It's a shame though because whichever way one looks at it - there is going to be an enormous amount of news in it and 'most' will be "bonza".

It's been a long time coming and will provide a strong backbone for the company's future plans.

However

IMO - I think the market(s) will subdue the true SP potential until Iran is stabilised. In this case time becomes the catalyst, not money.....
