Red - you broached this subject a short while ago.
Numerous posters pointed you in the right direction. A poster on GGPChat has even polled the decline for us all.
SD has told you when first ore is due. Brokers have confirmed findings too.

It's all *** packet maths anyway! Too many assumptions.
But I will break it down further, as to where my maths comes from.
Page 7 (small print) of the October 2021 Growth Update Presentation indicates a recovery rate for the gold of 88%.
So I used dilution: 12%
Assumimg 450k/yr resource. From this take the 12% off: approx 400koz/yr
Add 10% to the AISC for the luxury of tolling our gold through Telfer ( 133koz for GGP), gives us a cost of approx £8m/yr.
133koz x £900 (PoG profit) gives us £119m. Minus the tolling costs: £110m/yr.

PS: Question for anyone: Why has Sprott reduced its SP from 18p to 15p after additional good news. They haven't raised the shares on offer (Still 6Bn).???
Sprott have let themselves down with this issue - I used to like their methodology in the past.....what are they rambling on about this time round?

So if we stick with 3mt/yr through the SLOS, we're looking at 450kozAu/yr.
At £900/oz profit (@ current gold prices), that brings in £135m/yr for GGP's share of Hav.
Looking at Telfer charges (@ 10%) and dilution due to extraction (@ 12%): Approx £105m/yr.

Bamps, hope you are well. Two questions for you too, if I may:
Assuming the SLOS is targetting mainly the SE crescent and of that portion you mentioned possibly 10 - 13Moz:
1. Is that AuEq?
2. How do they expect to get that much ore out of this primary SLOS (will they extend the mine life or will they turn the decline into a dual carriageway or will they use lifts?
[Bearing in mind the slos is only good for 3mt/annum].

I see Newcrest(NCM) have tickled Newmont's(NEM) fancy...again. I'm assuming it's because NCM have taken them behind the scenes and shown them what's under cover.
IF.....this includes a major rerate @ Hav, in the shape of an upgraded MRE(2) then wouldn't that be nice for us too? Obviously the MRE isn't ready for publication yet (otherwise NCM would have to produce it now, iaw market regs), so we 'should' expect to see it after final negotiations have been concluded between the two majors around about end of April ish. Possible SP catalyst.

If/when NEM takes control then (in particular @ Hav/Telfer), I am hoping it will be business as usual regarding the DTM and timeline? Maybe NEM might want a pause prior to publication so that they can put their moniker on the document (crossing the t's and dotting the i's). I'm building this delay into my plans. DTM - SP catalyst.
IMO I am also adding more weight to NEM offering Hav for sale. Ergo - Telfer would need to be included in that sale price because without Hav, Telfer is just a relic (in particular if GGP make noises about building their own processing plant @ Hav). I expect Telfer to go for a song consequently. Maybe £1.5bn for Hav and Telfer becomes the BOGOF!!
Funding this is all about timing for me. Do it before the listing on the ASX and/or before consolidation -and it could be messy.
I would like to see: (a) consolidation, (b) listing, (c) debt funding, in that order. SP catalyst.
That way (as Jerry explained a while back) "dilution of our SP" would be catered for (and more) by asset accretion.
I really see SD wanting the whole of the Apple Pie.........

Oh by the way, Callum still retains his 113,000,000 shares. Now why on earth would the man who discovered Hav, built the model, seen the results (and future), want to leave those piddling few shares in GGP? Hmmmmm?
It's going to go quiet until NCM/NEM sort themselves out. Looking at April/May I guess.
The last 6 months of this year are going to go APE!

Do you remember all those calculations many of us were doing regarding exceeding the LTA because we were all going to be rich from GGP!!
What a blessing now that our riches have been postponed for a wee while longer - saving us even more money now that those additional tax bands have been abolished.

Naylor442 - I find it discombobulating that people like you have this view (globally) that a CEO or MD of a company - any company, can 'control' the SP?
If that were true - every company in the world would have show stopping SP's simply because the BoD say/move/ change something which the MM's approve of???
Companies don't run the stock exchange - news(good/bad), sentiment and 'players' (shorters/MM's) run it.

How do you genuinely expect (in this case) - SD to 'change' the SP for the better? Should he "invent" great new discoveries? Perhaps he should borrow more money? Drill more?.
Better still - should he hire a stellar BoD's? Ensure he has enough money to go to production? JV with a major? Discover a possible Tier1 ore body? No.......if he did these then the SP would go through the roof....surely?

Please, stop - think - post, before you come out with completely embarrassing statements like that which only goes to show how ignorant you are of investing in general, never mind GGP. Please do some homework eh?

If/when NCM provide Newmont with otherwise undeclared data on Hav - which they have alluded to, as a part of the partial takeover of NCM (and at a higher price, no doubt), they will do it confidentialy as described.
If then, NEM continue with the takeover bid - it will speak volumes about what NCM has under wraps @ Hav, methinks.

Ecuador are up to their eyeballs in debt to the chinese.
If the chinese want ENSA - and solg wants to get rid......the chinese will walk into it with absolutely NO opposition from the government at home, let alone any other government/business.

I also have a serious number of shares in the Hav story.
I don't think you deliberately meant to alienate some posters on here with your recent post alluding to them being uninformed regarding this takeover theme.
As some have said - provided civility presides over one's views - all are welcome to comment, no?
Maybe I can still taste the recent friendly takeover by Solg on CGP this week and maybe GGP might find themselves in a simialr boat where the major @ Hav buys GGP's shareholding out @ Hav on an amicable basis.
I have mentioned a few times over the past several months that once we go to production, what exactly does GGP bring to the party thereafter; no labourers/skillforce/machinery/money/additional expertise? No-one has responded with a sensible answer. So it would make sense for a major to accumulate the lot @ Hav.
That would be a short term win for PI's, I think.
GGP being allowed to remain a junior JV partner @ Hav is also on the table obviously (but I would like to see the reasons why this scenario would work). Another win for PI's.
Where I think things 'could' go pear shaped (IMHO) is if GGP decided independently to try to buy out the major @ Hav to the tune of billions of pounds (buying the real estate and financing the production of the SLOS and Bulk Cave in future.
Yes - as you stated - in the long term it would be nirvana and propel GGP into a mid tier league but in the interim, especially in the short term, the cost of servicing the debt could keep the SP in the doldrums for a very long time.
We're expecting income in the region of approx £100 - £130m/year if the throughput optimises @ around 450koz/yr. That is the gross figure before the 10% telfer charges, et al.
Borrowing billions more will savage future free cash flow (@ Libor/sonia/rfr of around +8%) through debt repayments.
The SLOS pays for itself in 4 to 5 years time. How much longer will it take if we dive deep into debt?

I'm with you long term - I fully understand that 'vision'..........but as I have always stated: Time is money.

God help us all if GGP try to buy out Hav/Telfer. We would be diluted beyond recognition.
I am as certain as I can be that SD has no plans to choose this perilous path.
Instead, in some shape or form, the preferred route (should a choice be made within the GGP apparatus) should be that Wyloo takes charge and encapsulates: Hav/Telfer/GGP.
GGP sells to Wyloo for a premium, Wyloo own the entire 'shebang' - lock stock and barrel and SD becomes the MD/CEO going fwd.

It is no coincidence that there are 3 directors together with a major shareholder - all of whom have strong links to Twiggy. I think most of us know that by now.
