I see this forum deteriorating to the extent that if we are not careful, it will contain only dross and depressing diatribe.

I have been a shareholder in Solg for 10 years and currently the LSE forum is entirely populated by poison. NOTHING constructive is posted - just sniping and bullying. It is septic.

I hope this forum doesn't go this way while we wait for the breakthrough we all know is coming. We are blessed with a number of contributers which makes this platform exceptional.....but it is beginning to creak!

Posters have a number of options: Ignore troublemakers, filter them, or leave.

By giving them air time/oxygen.....you are fuelling the demise of this unique forum.

I still fail to understand why posters respond to certain contributors.

Liam's interviews.

Direct access to the CEO of our company.

Experienced contributors.

A company that is the envy of AiM.

Researchers.

It goes on. I respectfully request that we cherish this and enjoy the journey, rather than invest in fuelling the poison disseminated by certain posters who have absolutely no interest whatsoever in your financial investement.

The decision for you is VERY simple. Block out the noise and concentrate on the certainty that is GGP.

Quades - I was being sarky! Of course solg aren't going to turn to their geologists/managers/marketing/admin/cleaners - to ask them to bring a shovel to work tomorrow. Of course they will hire in the hundreds of workers that build a mine and of course this will be paid for by the $3,000,000,000 (minus the $75m royalties to the government) that solg will borrow.

But let me make this VERY clear Quades: There is NO WAY on GOD's earth that there will be any mining (construction or otherwise) @ Alpala this side of christmas (even, dare I say it - next christmas)!

Let's stick to 2026+ shall we with a joint partner or with someone else totally disassociated with solg altogether.

We've (mostly) been patient - some of us for several years! But all being well, between now and the end of the year should see some tangible and positive results.

To keep it in perspective - it's only been 3 years from concept to construction of the mine. That is 'warp' speed even by klingon definition!

It is a blessing that those of us who have been loyal to GGP might now reap our just rewards.

I'm sure there are still some bumps in the road but 'heads down' for a little longer, eh?

Another piece to the jigsaw. But the piece future prospective buyers will be interested in - is the attitude that the new government adopts post August and then in 2025.

These agreements aren't worth the paper they're written on - if the new government renege on it all. And for those who think we have international rights for compensation: (a) it could take decades to resolve and (b) compensation would'nt trickle down to the likes of you and me.

I don't think the coast is clear until the new government declares their (mining) position.

I'm guessing - end of the year maybe?

I'm not trying to stimulate heated debate about consolidation except to say I will be shocked if we don't. What I am intimating is that the forum might need to start thinking about the SP in terms of say the SP being 70p now or perhaps £1.40 instead of 14p and so on. [Post ASX].

Be prepared that's all.

It might be time to consider the SP in terms of its advertised value - post ASX listing (post consolidation). Quotes such as: 33p or 88p or such, will become irrelevant if/when we consolidate. And consolidate we will, for sure with an advertised 6.03 billion shares in issue by the time we start FCF in 2024.

Back to reality:

There is no denying this resource is one of the best in the world top ten over the last 20+ years. I see atleast two MAJOR barriers that need to be overcome for a prospective buyer (because there is no way on earth that Solg can start mining @ Cascabel anytime soon least of all in 6 months time (pmsl)).

1st: The resource is an awkward shape and it requires considerable enginering expertise to mine it efficiently. This means it is going to be expensive to resolve.

2nd: The new government sitting in the wings could delay/cancel all that was previously agreed between Lasso and the mining fraternity.

Who in their right mind would act now to buy out ENSA atleast until the new government show positive intent to mine and then the new owner having to front up billions to mine the resource?

This is going to be a very slow burner for countless months to run.......................

[Our only hope is if the chinese are so embedded (and busy in the background) in the Ecuadorian government (new and old), that they can call in favours allowing them to crack on with Alpala].

Can't see anything happening this side of 2023.
