I heard Sandeep mention in a previous (NCM interim) podcast that the resource tonnage of approx 54Mt would take around "4 to 5 years" and one of the two trains @ Telfer would be processing it at about 12Mt/year. Telfer's max output is estimated @ 31Mt.

The apollo mission was carried out by NASA....erm...a little previous experience might I add.

The Euro tunnel is a great exemplar for what I was describing....the consortium (TransMache) fecked it up because they thought better! Bechtel had to be brought in because they were the 'experts' in the field!

Solg has ZERO / NIL / NADA experience of building a mine, never mind a complicated mine on a global scale. I can assure you that when the question is raised: "who you gonna turn to", the answer won't be 'ghostbusters'!
It will be, Mmmm let's see, we need:

labourers
H&S
machinery
geologists
designers
hundreds of labourers
automation
surveyors
IT
Are Solg going to 'farm out' each of those disciplines? Of course not. Can you imaging the unitary costs of so doing?
They will turn to a Turn Key solution, my firend. All under one roof.

You're a sensitive chap, methinks. Easily upset by 'white noise'.
I try to look @ this site daily if possible and often find 100's of posts waiting to be read. In the early days I read them all and found the vast majority to be trivial (for one reason or another). Now I have a method of playing catch up which enables me to get the 'gist' of things:
Only read those posts with more than 'x' tick ups....(I currently use 5 as my baseline but this goes up to 10 when there is serious activity).
Let me leave you with this if I may.
98% of the posts really are pathetic (for one reason or another: trivial/abusive/childish/ramping/deramping). Yours are in the remaining 2%.
Keep the faith and know that you are worth a read all day long.

I know you mean well and I know you genuinely believe that Solg can do this 'alone' by contracting out to various sub contractors to get the job done.
But consider this - A small explorer, with no previous experience in ANY form of mining (even open pit!), is now going to co-ordinate the design/construction /operation of one of the most complex mines , in one of the most environmentally challenging domains....and of a size which will make it one of the biggest - globally......................................
by subcontracting it all out?
Seriously? Really?
Can you think of anyone in ANY discipline, carrying this out successfully...anywhere?
What WILL happen, is that common sense will prevail and Solg will turn to a MAJOR miner who already has all this experience under one roof...and ask them to build THEIR mine for them.
Now if this is what you mean when you constantly remind us that Solg will go it alone....then I agree.
However, how about we give this arrangement a name?
It's called a JOINT VENTURE, Quades.

This is a regulatory news service for those PI's who are sitting quietly in the background. There are two types......the LTH's who rise above the bo ll ox that we have to endure from 98% of contributors on this BB. Then there are the newbies who are hoping to benefit from their due dilligence.
Unlike the vast majority of stock on AIM alternative investment minefield), GGP's roadmap is locked in and being executed as we speak. GGP isn't going to be told by NCM that the resources have seeped away. NCM isn't going to go bust (especially after its latest financial report). Australia isn't going to lose its next GE to a leftie environmentalist junta.
GGP has discovered something so 'special' that one of the biggest miners on the planet, is digging at maximum speed to unearth it AND is prepared to pay for all costs (including the loan to GGP) up to the FS. By then, the discovery will have multiplied 'x' fold.
This is NOT a drill. This is for real. LESS THAN 6 MONTHS, the world will be told what NCM already suspect - that the discovery is much bigger than previously declared. [And this is without ANY regional good news added on].
So for those nervous. quiet, unsure PI's who have joined between 20 - 30p, rest assured, the 'prize' is still waiting to be collected and the light at the end of this particular tunnel is in fact a miners torch illuminating one of the biggest finds of gold and copper in WA history.
You will be rewarded....handsomely.

In summary then:

As of Mar 2021.

June 2021. The decline and ventilation shafts commence towards the top of the main ore body within the crescent, which is approx 420m beneath the surface. The length of this decline will be around 3000m ish overall.
Q1/22. Stoping tunnels connect the decline to the main ore body. On reaching the high grade ore body they will extract high grade low volume mineralisation and feed one of two trains @ Telfer (<12mt/year).

Sandeep suggested this is the quickest way to extract maximum returns from low volumes of high grade ore. (4 or 5 years to extract the 54Mt of high grade ore).
Q3/22. On completion of the FS, a decision will be made by both partners to bulk mine the remainder as a JV*. If both parties agree – a decline for the bulk mine will be constructed a further 1200m and run for approx 8000m. (@ 8m/day (2.75 years)).
* If GGP wish to continue with the project at this stage, it will need to fund 30% of the production costs estimated between $1.2 and $1.5Bn.
Sandeep: “...Mass production is expected to continue over many years as a consequence of bulk mining. As the mine expands, more income will be generated and this is expected to commence around late 2024…”

Q1/22. SLC (or the option for Stoping) commences @ main ore body.
Q2/22. First pour? High grade, low output.
Q3/22. F.S. Decision to bulk mine (as a JV) to be made by NCM and GGP.
Q3/22. Bulk mine construction commences. [Additional 1200m deep / 8km long @ 8m/day].
Q2/25. Full production commences.
Q1/25. NCM may acquire additional 5% interest.

My final production dates have been adjusted further but I still think it will be before 2028.

The market is a fickle place and even though Scally isn't associated with Havieron, ergo, this SP....in theory, they have attached sentimental value to the SP. If Scally results are good - it will be reflected in the SP, if they are bad....ditto.
