Yet, Ecuador has been relatively stable by comparison - now becoming even more 'westernised' with their new leader and yet the country seems to eschew mining........

Lasso will make his maiden speech on 24th May. I'm guessing this is when he'll lay down ground rules for existing cadastres. I've also read he might be pro new concessions (especially with the extensive tenements solg has).
Solgs ESG is robust.

Great to see some of the rare posters have their say this morning, somewhat akin to when I first joined around May '19. At that time this was a BB like no other. A message to those silent stalwarts:
Remember who the constructive contributors are (probably about 10-15 in total), they are fairly easy to spot - they try to remain consistently honest and do their best to shy away from vilifying others. Occasionally they do fall foul of distraction. They contribute above all else towards the big picture - which is now in sight and within reach. I have said before, this is no longer speculation, this is fact. NCM/GGP are digging for gold which they know is there. Every day, we are getting 8 metres closer to those precious minerals.
If not before....but by end of September this year (only 5 months away), the world will be reassured of the 'increased' findings @ Havieron. This will be a seismic event in terms of the then NPV of this stock.
In the meantime, great to hear from those sitting quietly and confidently in the shadows....and remember: "No pain.....no gain".

JJ - thank you and stick with the posting. It is quiet now because the stock is in an hiatus (inexplicably) and posters are bored. They will return when we see the upside together with all the 'noise and disruption' they bring too - rise above it....don't respond. Filter and report as and when.

It's not what I wanted to hear (going to production alone) but I like what he has to say. Important that he keeps the markets updated, especially with clear, precise and practical news feeds like this.
Come the PFS....provided it's still a green light ...I predict a JV.
It seems that NM's plan would have been very inefficient and wasteful.....I wonder why KM mentioned that?
Alas..the rest of this year flop co c king along waiting for the pfs...another year gone.

All information is good! Let's not diss red for going the extra mile in finding 'stuff' out. It is always useful. Thanks Red for your efforts.
I still personally believe Solg will be JV'd or bought out in some shape or form. I don't care what the end product will look like because I need to make a reasonable return on this after hanging fast for so many years. I don't know what's worse....long covid or holding shares in Solg!
As soon as the SP moves beyond my average then "colour me gone"...I have better fish to fry.

Obviously a broker for numerous clients.
Here's what Warren Irwin says:
"...When holdings are listed in a broker’s name, they are the nominee for somebody else. In this case I believe either BHP or Newcrest have their securities lodged there. The reason the Bell Potter number is slightly higher is that some of their other clients also own SolGold. Be careful as I think there is double counting going on here. ..."
