The news will be good tonight. NCM have been working through the first quarter when all others haven't. Consequently Sandeep will have 'news', even if it is mild, it will be in addition to what has already been reported and it will be presented enthusiastically. That is the worst case scenario. Best case - massive news on Northern Crescent and breccias.
So we will all sleep well tonight. Markets tomorrow are irrelevant. This tonight will simply add more fizz to the bottle.....awaiting celebration day (PFS(Hav)).
Well done to all those who have held under enormous pressure (from the market )these last 3 months. The tide must turn......and soon.

RCGL2 - what a fuss, eh....all these buyers for this placing rushing to buy in @ 25.5p, WTF!
Why wait for such a massive non event when you can buy on the open market (probably at a better price by the weekend at this rate!).
My existing holding has now lost approx £5000 thanks to this wonderful placing (sorry - dilution). Thanks Solg.
So...as I said Q, PI's are now worse off as a result of this dilution because the SP has dropped. Case closed.

Let's hope then, that in the long term, the £50m will find massive deposits in regional tenements - enough to attract suitable interest...........tick, tick, tick..

Don't know about tomorrow but when the extra shares hit the market (30th?) then by definition, if the NPV stays the same and the number of shares rises - the share price drops.
But that's the theory....let's see what actually happens.

enuine question to the more learned here (not you Q):
Why have solg raised funds this way?
It is abundantly clear that FNV want no interest in the regionals - otherwise they would have 'lent' them more.
Any discourse between BHP/NCM would have resulted in them 'buying' such a paltry sum without blinking, unless of course, they are happy with their lot @ Cascabel and not interested in any of the regionals.
Several months ago, Solg declared that they wanted to farm out some of their regionals...and yet this must have come to nothing (yet) because no-one has approached them with the $50m (pocket money) needed to continue with the exploration drilling.
So my 'take' on this is that currently no-one is interested in any of the regionals, not even Porvenir. Yet for solg to make them more attractive, they want more money to speed up drilling in the hope that they 'find' good results to be able to farm them out in future?
So the big question for me is: why now and why only ask for $50m?

I can't ever see NCM bidding for GGP as a whole...the remaining 30% @ Hav...yes..definitely and just after the FS which if proven up should by then attract an SP of 66p (broker calcs).
The 40% premium (market high end premium) would make the stock worth 93p ish. The vast majority of all shareholders would sell for that, I am certain. Juri is a known unknown of course.
Scally would be GGP's to do with as they wish now that they were loaded!

Question for all: Can anyone think of a major who has kept a minnow on board after production? Why would any major retain a minnow to 'feed' and put up with on the BoD?

GGP is going to need circa $500m to contribute towards full production @ Hav, post FS.
Of course they will find it but with Juri and Scally and goodness knows what else going on, SD may decide to stay true to what GGP represents - exploration and discovery only.
Sell Hav and move on....I say.

I have assumed therefore that AEM targets N5 and A9 will be drilled.
