Grim - it's hard trying to run a business in Ecuador with 700 personnel and 14 board members and technicians earning all their well deserved salaries, keeping the likes of NM and his cronies in the money! Propping up the local economy, paying into charities, funding schools and basket weaving classes.
Oh...just realised, somewhere in their remit, they do a bit of gardening too...tenements they call them and one looks quite promising..............but that's for another epoch.
Another day...another dollar, no rush.

The Alpala story will be spoken about by our grandchildren and still it won't be built! Too many known unknowns (politics for one).
I am in a position where my money in Solg is not needed, so my plan is to make a decent return, which for me is around 50p ish. That way, it makes me feel better when I think about having to wait 8+ yrs for this dud to move!
What has 'rejuvenated' me is the mention by Hannam that Porvenir is moving up the ladder in terms of priority due to the possibility of it being an Open Pit. This could easily come to production within Lasso's mandate and that would certainly put a rocket up the SP.
By the end of 2021, the dust might be clearing.

Otherncopper - it is feasible that dilution could double what we have currently (IE: 4Bn shares), IF, and it is a big "IF" Solg prefer this method of liquidity. Personally, I think they have better options available already due to interest from several countries regarding NSR's.

Sandeep: 250/month: 12 months.
Current progress (Byrnecut update): 155/month: 19 months!
Let's hope Byrnecut settle down and improve, or this will drag on......

Lenz - A little voice in my head agrees with you! Cadia's AISC was MINUS $6 at one stage recvently!
But I always like to hang around the conservative figures, that way, I don't get unwanted surprises, in fact the opposite happens!
Maybe $600 - $400 aisc to start with eh? (Stoping etc).

HlInvestor - good point and one which many might be thinking about. SD has even stated that the Q3 (possibly Oct) PFS will orbit around the 4.2MozAuEq. But I suspect WelshFalcon has allayed your concerns in this regard. Much drilling to report in the interim, within the original ore body to 'pump up' the PFS. Already ALL the brokers are flagging up 11Moz resources as the 'norm' during their calcs looking fwd. The PFS can and will only bolster and promote the SP.
It is the associated MRE's to watch out for both before and after the PFS.
