Evening Monty - I wasn't party (perse) to the comprehensive discussion ongoing days ago, I simply watched from the sidelines because my research has already told me that the PFS is not coming out in September. It changed over recent weeks from "september 2021" to "H2 2021" to "later this year". So u won't find it in my history. You'll have to trawl back in time thru the posts!

We ideally need an MRE(indicated) first. This will bolster the PFS.
MRE(indicated) then PFS, then MRE2 (inferred)....in that order it seems........

Monty - this was discussed to excess some days ago. Red Chris will come out in September it seems. Hav will not.
The purpose of this particular PFS (in addition to what League said), is to satisfy the NCM shareholders and BoD that constructing the box cut and decline leading to Stoping at speed - was the right thing to do. SD commented.
Hundreds of millions have been spent already, the company needs to cross the t's and dot the i's to justify everything.
The PFS offers an accuracy of 20 to 25% of the forecast cost of the project. The PFS will be the entry point for bigger II's to come onboard, forming an essential component of their DD.
The (D)FS in Q2/22 offers a more refined assessment of the project and distills the costs down to an accuracy of 5%.
NCM will pay for the PFS and FS.
On completion of the PFS, NCM increases its majority holding of Havieron to 70%.

If you are looking for fireworks, look not at the PFS (although it will certainly bolster the SP)....watch closely for the MRE(inferred) in December........this will change everything.

Snowflakes, woke, cancel culture, gender fluid...to name but a few things that have infiltrated our society over the last 10 to 15 years. To me this demonstrates what happens to society when it gets bored. People who embrace some or all of the aforementioned are either rebelious or have little else to do other than dumb down their social environment.
The western world (whatever that means) has not had a focus since the 2nd WW. Primarily this is to be applauded because (god forbid) we don't want that again - ever; but now that we have had decades of peace and relative calm, people are fiddling with their fingers while the west burns.
All of the above have been greatly exacerbated by the use of SM without a doubt. I don't think China suffers the same somehow!
When you can't call a woman a lady. When schools have to build gender neutral toilets, when people have to think twice before telling a joke in case someone within earshot takes offence, when NO-ONE can say anything derogatory about anyone who is BAME. Exploration decline commenced 12/5/21(1 month early).
15th July 2021. Mine officially opened.

commence towards top of main ore body within the crescent, approx 420m beneath the surface. Length of this 1st decline will be approx 2600m. Byrnecut are contracted to construct the decline until October 2022.
Sandeep estimates 250m/month. Byrnecut are presently digging less than this.
Arrival of decline @ ore is estimated Q4/22. (Based on 150m/month).
On arrival - tunnels connect the decline to the main ore body. On reaching the high grade ore body they will extract high grade low volume mineralisation using Sub Level Caving (SLC) methods to feed one of two processing trains @ Telfer. [ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ruo0YrLGAwA ]. First pour?
Sandeep suggested this is the quickest way to extract maximum returns from low volumes of high grade ore. (4 + years to extract the 54Mt of high grade ore).
Q2/22. F.S. At which time a decision will be made by NCM/GGP to bulk mine as a JV*.
If both parties agree, an 8000m decline for the base of the bulk mine will be constructed a further 1200m vertically.
Q4/23. SLC commercial production commences. Mine life approx 2042.
Q3/26. Bulk mining construction begins. [ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qp7bm24PDwc ]. Mine life to approx 2053+.
2028. Bulk Mine large scale production commences.

* If GGP wish to continue with the project at this stage, it will need to fund 30% of the production costs (currently estimated $1.2 to $1.5Bn (US dollars) (to be updated @ PFS)).
Sandeep: “...Mass production is expected to continue over many years as a consequence of bulk mining. As the mine expands, more income will be generated and this is expected to commence around late 2024…”

When you KNOW this IS going to happen, NOTHING.......NOTHING will derail ones faith in GGP. The PFS will support this process, this is a given. The gold will be located, extracted and sold.
NCM won't be forking out a BILLION dollars and GGP a half billion dollars if they think this entire project is a gamble! Just think about this and let it sink in.

Emailed Byrnecut regarding their pitiful decline progress. They have passed the email onto GGP:
Their response today:
".....In terms of the decline progress itself, there are many factors to the advancement, however generally it takes more time to get going in the early stages due to establishing and setting up the operation in a safe working environment. Also, because of the rock formations, the rate of advancement increases the further down the decline. As a result and without experiencing any unforeseen issues, we anticipate the rate of progress to increase over time...."
