In point of fact, despite a raft of rancorous media reports slandering the Manchester-based online fashion retailer, out of nine sell-side analysts who had reviewed their Boohoo ratings this week, half a dozen among them had stuck on to a “buy” recommendation as before-mentioned.

Boohoo smashed through the £1bn-turnover barrier in the year to February 2020 as sales jumped 44% to £1.23bn. Pre-tax profits also increased sharply, to £92.2m.
Boohoo said:
“Our early investigations have revealed that Jaswal Fashions is not a declared supplier and is also no longer trading as a garment manufacturer.
“It, therefore, appears that a different company is using Jaswal’s former premises and we are currently trying to establish the identity of this company.
“We are taking immediate action to thoroughly investigate how our garments were in their hands, will ensure that our suppliers immediately cease working with this company, and we will urgently review our relationship with any suppliers who have sub-contracted work to the manufacturer in question.”

Despite riding out the pandemic admirably - sales rose by 45 per cent to £367.8 million in the three months to May - it was hit badly by claims this month that workers at some Leicester-based garment factories were forced to work during lockdown and that some were paid as little as £3.50 an hour. The report, by campaign group Labour Behind the Label, suggested that at least 75 percent of clothing production in all Leicester factories is commissioned by the Boohoo group. The fashion brand Quiz has also been criticised.

Chief executive says scheme would raise tax and stop rogue businesses entering market
In a letter to Priti Patel, the home secretary, John Lyttle, the chief executive of Boohoo, said a “joint effort between industry and government” was required to revamp the UK garment industry and “provide an incentive for retailers and brands to invest”.

Don't believe the standard, no facts just some prediction by some analyst - not fact. Just an opinion. Unless they've got a magic crystal ball that tells the future - I can't accept what they are saying as fact. Plus it contradicts:
Boohoo today fiercely refuted Bor's claims, saying it was determined to stick with its UK supplier base and work with them to improve conditions. "We remain firmly committed to UK manufacturing and enforcing the highest standards of ethics, compliance and transparency for the benefit of all garment workers," a spokesman said.
