a 90 day delivery time is always subject to various conditions . Unless there is some penalty clause ( which seems unlikely) it was always a nominal figure

oh common thats a legalistic splitting of hairs. Its OK for fighting a contractual dispute. But once you set these things in momentum, nothing should change.

They never were gonna meet the 90 days deadline it seems. Some containers must be on their way but its the last bit that counts

S&P lowered its zinc forecast for this year and next, from an assumed $3200/t for the rest of 2018 to $2,800/t, and from $3,000/t to $2,800/t in 2019.

It said the revision reflected its expectation for higher supply amid "relatively tepid" demand growth and said global inventories had expanded after falling for more than two years.

"Moreover, we believe zinc prices at $2,800/t are close to the marginal cost of production for about 75% of zinc producers globally," S&P said.

"The proposed acquisition of the Kabwe Residual Rights would complement the Star Zinc project and the Board considers this to be a valuable transaction relative to its mission to build a significant zinc resource in Zambia".

CB goes for big projects. If its not a big resource, then it isn't viable / or he is not interested.

sorry I take back that last post. On rereading the 14th August RNS, this is a Concordia like situation where it could either be a massive mine, or merely contains some very rich veins. If its a massive mine , then it will develop its own ore processing facilities. If not it will be a run of the mill mine , which means sending Ore to Kabwe for processing

seems a viable business plan but it wont get back the SP back to the heady heights of 10p. This company will want copper ore at cost for 3-4 years. Thats assuming the cluster mining concept can supply enough or to make it viable

You got the impression before that they were basically writing off the existing wells and would do no more workovers on them. For many reasons, like limited data and also the suspicion that they were poorly targeted. They would just go with what they have.
