purchasers of MTNs would be told the same as us - production 275 bopd not stabilised . What else can they say ? It would be just as much a gamble, and they are ahead of PIs
large buys are too early for C30 news, the only one that really counts. bit of a downer I know
the strategy of using this big rig for working over wells will only work if it produces significant numbers . Its good to see AC mention C37 as 'proof of concept' . A lot is riding on this next workover
"keep costs under control" not down :-) Costs are OK if they produce a return
re production costs it makes sense that costs will rise . There has been an increase in capital expenditure which must be amortised over a number of years . The only way to keep costs down is if these assets produce significant output , to keep the unit cost per barrel low
So far ZEN has had an easy ride by acquiring producing assets . It needs to get production up
wow 2.85 is best price for a while. We are in C30 spud week - it should happen sometime this week.
Either the buying means things are simply going to plan, or there is another piece of news . Of course with ZEN simply going to plan is a newsworthy item in itself ;-)
Good on you.
that 2x2 million transaction pair must be a bed and isa. Which makes sense if you beleive in the projections . Maybe I'll have go tomorrow . Dont wanna leave over the weekend
would the GLR offtake be slow to begin with and then ramp up? Whats the minimum annual volume to keep this show on the road?
yeah I think oilers are drifting lower. Not too worried about the SP in the short term unless AC decides to do another placing !!
PMO has just turned blue but barely
the quantity could be a bone of contention . There has been discussion that Kabwe ore will "optimise" the Zinc circuit when it starts up. That suggest a mix of different but known percentages of Zinc ore. Does that mean they dont know the mix yet or its to be determined.
you both Mondays big buy?? ;-)
more evidence needed of how GLR production plans are going to synchronise with JLP. Maybe the discussions are better than we expected, or worse or somewhere in-between ;-)
Not sure what an offtake agreement contains. The rates have been discussed here but does JLP guarantee a minimum offtake ? I get the feeling that GLR can pretty much supply JLP as required but they need minimum economies of scale
And of course the start date . If we could actually RNS a start date that would give the SP a nice boost. For that a mining licence seems a prerequisite
this Friday will be 3 weeks since the pad was poured . They can start assembling the rig on it towards the end of next week or maybe a few days earlier
this is crap project management but we wait ...
you have been buying on Nex . How do you do it
The buys appearing on Nex indicate there are large sellers as well , otherwise the SP would be drifting upwards
my buys in the past have ended up there. Still indicates selling going on
been like this for a while
agreed - AC is not the best nor is he the worst by far. These wells are 4 plus kms down in very complex geology. Most of the criticism is pretty shallow (including mine I must say) and interestingly Norwegian oil investing expertise is not what its cracked out to be
Still there are many criticisms. I think this company is undercapitalised which contributes to the slowness. Placings should have been done when the sp was 10-11 p not at the bottom . But whats the point in going over that
selling bonds would be a LOT easier if he got some good production numbers. This elaborate side show in Norway would not be necessary . Production speaks for itself
agreed , hilarious and terrifying - I've just managed to listed to the entire thing
- AC would be very difficult to work with, or for
- Norway company purchase is just not explained. There is no coherent answer and lots of diversions including the history of oil in Norway. A company that has not traded for 10 years is a zombie company and he spend £140 k on it.
- the only substantive bit is bonds being floated on the Austrian exchange. At what rate?
- 29 million shares were traded on the Oslo bourse. Zen is making a splash and investors might think he is bidding for offshore "brownfield sites". Put it down to cost of marketing for those bonds.
- An oil mist hangs over ZEN . Nobody is quite sure whats going on. AC said he isn't going to go door to door selling bonds and this is his boiler room operation of sorts . Clever if he pulls it off
as for Azerb well thats a sort of afterthought
no RNS on HL . I think this red dot should not be there . Its a mishtake
c37 would need 90 days stabilised production before it can be included in such documents
ZEN still need to demonstrate to investors that they have mastered the challenges they speak of
