Can anyone explain why NCYT is worth more than 3 times AVCT? Based on depth and breadth of the company and prospects etc. It feels like we have a lot of catching up to do. Makes the £2 consensus look very conservative

Consensus seems to be short term target of ~£2 with further positive news on partners and test results etc.
Certainly has momentum and many strings to its bow, not just C-19

Dropping off in the US, very early stage, maybe to early to catch the boat!! But interesting to follow at this point to see how the SP pans out, along with progress

Those who can be bothered to do any research will see there are other plays some with better tech and scalability to enable production of a point-of-care rapid Covid-19 test. DYOR

Lock down has been government driven. Hence government are making payments. Dont see how the gov can then make insurance companies liable. Who knows legal stuff can be flaky at best , along with policy wording. Personally think businesses will have an uphill battle getting insurance payments based on lock down

I would not read too much into current futures or should I say where they closed Thurs. Futures open 10PM tonight + DOW trading tomorrow

Hants, thats how I read it. Use at home test that is cheap, accurate with results in a matter of mins. AVCT are also in talks with a number of other pharmas. I expect will be announced over the next couple of weeks ++

I would not expect them to fail, significantly de risked as AVCT developed the same for Zika

Will also allow people to buy and home test, if price point is right. Guessing that there will be some interim therapeutics, so home / local clinic testing will be key.
Also we are looking at 12-18 months until a vaccine is ready, then production will need to be scaled, targeting vulnerable groups first. General population could be 24 months ++ before vaccine becomes generally available

AA should have significantly fewer vehicle claims due to C-19. This could have a big impact on the bottom line

Not surprised consumer groups are starting to complain. So are people saying they are no longer using their cars...I dont think so, maybe reduced use.
If its mileage people are complaining, a recent quote I had showed a few pounds difference between 8k & 12k miles per year. Its not a big impact on your policy

NYCT looks to be around 4-6 weeks ahead with testing capability. However AVCT looks to be developing the platform which should but them a lot further up the food chain a few months out. Plus mcaps seem wildly different, even though AVCT is developing other therapeutics. Any thoughts
